The Estate

San Antonio Estate is owned by Richard Du Verteuil and provides an insight into the rich and deep-rooted involvement of the Du Verteuil family in the local cocoa industry; A profound legacy passed on from generation to generation, Richard decided to dedicate his life to cocoa more than 20 years ago, managing more than 100 acres that have been organically certified in 2019.

The Place

San Antonio Estate is nestled in the lush region of Gran Couva. The region’s ideal micro-climate and rich soil present ideal conditions for high-quality Trinitario cocoa cultivation and justify the area's major involvement in cocoa agriculture in the past. 

The Bean

The estate’s bean flavors are described as fruity, browned fruits, and mildly sweet.
